The ingredients needed to make Ma Po Tofu:
  1. Prepare 1 pack Soft tofu
  2. Prepare Minced pork
  3. Make ready Chilli bean paste
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp soy sauce
  5. Make ready 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  6. Make ready Minced garlic
  7. Prepare Minced ginger
  8. Make ready 1 tsp peppercorn
  9. Get 1 tsp sugar
  10. Prepare Some salt
Instructions to make Ma Po Tofu:
  1. Marinate minced pork with soy sauce and Shaoxing wine.
  2. Cut tofu into small cubes.
  3. Stir fry minced garlic and ginger till aromatic. Add in minced pork and stir fry till cooked and aromatic. Add in tofu cubes.
  4. Add in chilli bean paste and some water. Medium heat cook for 5 minutes for the seasonings to absorb into the tofu. Slowly stir the tofu.
  5. Add some salt and sugar to adjust taste. Add in peppercorn. Finally add in cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Garnish with spring onions on top and serve.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
