The ingredients needed to make Mapo tofu:
  1. Prepare 1/2 shallot, 5 clove garlic
  2. Get Silken tofu
  3. Get Minced pork
  4. Get Salt
  5. Make ready White pepper
  6. Prepare Chili oil (use any kind chili in the jar)
  7. Prepare Sugar
  8. Prepare Green onion
  9. Make ready Mapo sezchuan style sauce
Steps to make Mapo tofu:
  1. Preparation: cut tofu into cube sized cut and chopped shallot,garlic,also green onion. First thing: sautéed minced pork well done leave it on the side till everything ready. Second thing: sautéed all the onions and put the mapo sauce, chili oil,sugar,salt,and pepper. Then, yo can put minced pork. Stirr well together until the sauce little bit thicker then put cube sized tofu (I prefer use firm tofu)and mixed them well. The Mapo tofu is ready to enjoy
  2. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
