  1. Take 2 Eggs
  2. Prepare 30 ml Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
  3. Get 180 ml Water

Put the egg in a microwave-safe container with some water. Cook for about a minute – the time depends on the type of boiled egg you prefer. Place drained, cubed, thawed tofu in a microwave-safe glass dish or bowl. I forgot where I got this from.

  1. Dilute the mentsuyu with the listed amount of water. Mix 180 ml of the diluted mentsuyu into the egg (leave 30 ml aside for later).
  2. Prepare 3 containers. Using a tea strainer, strain the mixture as you pour it into the containers. Discard any thick parts of the egg white that remain in the strainer.
  3. Cover the containers (or cover them loosely with plastic wrap) and microwave for 8-9 minutes at 200 W.
  4. After the tofu cools down slightly, chill in the fridge to finish. Serve with the reserved mentsuyu, and top with wasabi if you’d like. Enjoy!
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
