The ingredients needed to make Easy Inarizushi:
  1. Get 5 Aburaage
  2. Make ready 200 ml Dashi stock
  3. Make ready 2 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  4. Get 2 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
  5. Get 1 tbsp Sake
Instructions to make Easy Inarizushi:
  1. Cut the aburaage in half.
  2. Put the dashi stock, sugar, soy sauce, sake and the cut aburaage into a heatproof bowl, and microwave for 2 minutes 30 seconds at 700 W.
  3. Flip the aburaage over, and microwave for another 2 minutes. Leave to cool naturally, ideally for at least 30 minutes (you can make it in advance and leave it to rest overnight).
  4. Add beni-shouga red pickled ginger to sushi rice. This is the standard version of inari sushi.
  5. We often add a topping to the inari sushi. I added quail eggs, gingko nuts, ginger, yama-gobo (pokeweed root) pickles here. Great in bentos too.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
