  3. let’s cook down for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring
  4. add sweet potatoes and let them cook in the oil for 5 to 6 minutes stir every other minute
  5. add 1/2 cup of water and let sweet potatoes soften while you begin to brown your meat
  6. in a separate pan add ground beef and bay leaves seasoned salt and pepper to taste,and brown your meat
  7. in a separate pot cook 1 cup of couscous according to the directions
  8. after sweet potatoes have softened add ground turkey and couscous and raisins now you have a wonderful ethnic inspired dish to share with others it is ok if all the water and or oil is not fully absorbed the couscous will absorb the rest
